Clippers at Hawks

The Atlanta Hawks have won four in a row by beating the worst team in the Pacific Division along with three Southeast Divisional rivals and will try to extend their winning streak to five on Saturday when they host the Los Angeles Clippers. The Hawks won twice at home against Orlando and Washington before getting 26 points and 13 rebounds from Al Horford in a 101-91 win at Charlotte on Friday night.

Los Angeles has lost two in a row for the second time this season after scoring 29 points in the second half of Friday's 86-76 loss at Brooklyn. Chris Paul had 14 points but in the fourth quarter he did not score, had one assist, two turnovers and six fouls. Blake Griffin also had 14 but like Paul, the big man went scoreless in the fourth.

ABOUT THE CLIPPERS (8-4): The Clippers had one three-game losing streak last season and followed that up by winning 14 of their next 19 games. Paul is 7-of-25 from the floor in the last two games and just 16-of-44 in Los Angeles' four losses. The Clippers came into Friday night averaging 42 bench points, which was second in the league but had just 24 such points against the Nets. Los Angeles had not scored fewer than 89 points before Friday and that was in its 89-76 home win over Atlanta on Nov. 11.

ABOUT THE HAWKS (7-4): Atlanta's last loss was Nov. 14 at Golden State when Horford sat out with the flu. Since then, he is shooting 34-of-64 from the floor. Guard Jeff Teague is averaging a career-best 6.9 assists and had his second double-double Friday by scoring 13 points and handing out 12 assists. He had just four double-doubles coming into this season. Despite having the league's longest active winning streak, the Hawks have committed 50 turnovers in the last three games.

1. The Clippers will be trying to sweep the season series for the fourth time. The only other instances were when they won six straight from Nov. 11, 2003-Nov. 10, 2005 and since that point, they have dropped eight of the last 13 meetings.

2. Paul is averaging 21.6 points and 9.9 assists in 11 career games against the Hawks.

3. In their 13-point loss in Los Angeles earlier this season, the Hawks committed 10 of their 22 turnovers in the fourth quarter.
