It's not the worst news the Minnesota Vikings could have received following Adrian Peterson's scary-looking injury on Sunday night, but it's also not the best news. The 2015 NFL rushing champ and future Hall of Famer suffered a torn meniscus and currently has no timetable for a return. Depending on the severity of the injury, he could be out for anywhere between one week to the remainder of the season. It also remains to be seen whether Peterson will have surgery on the knee. If he doesn't he should be able to return in short order. If he does, that's a long-term injury.
