Report: Stevie Johnson to Have Surgery on Torn Meniscus

August 1st, 2016

The San Diego Chargers just can't catch a break. After suffereing through an injury-ravaged 2015 season, the team will be without wide receiver Stevie Johnson for a while here after he suffered a torn meniscus during training camp.

There is a chance Johnson could be back shortly. Though, meniscus injuries themselves are tricky propositions. It depends on the severity of the tear, and what the team wants to do with it. This is only magnified with Johnson's recent injury history. He missed six games with the Chargers a season ago. Johnson, 30, recorded 45 receptions for 497 yards and three scores in 2015.
