Whether the Milwaukee Brewers brought Ryan Braun back from the DL too early remains to be seen. Out for the past week and a half due to a left calf strain, Braun was activated from the disabled list on Monday. He responded by going hitless in eight at-bats in his first two games back.
Braun is now riding the pine for Wednesday's game against the Toronto Blue Jays and starter Marcus Stroman. This could very well be Milwaukee simply giving the struggling Braun a day off. Though, considering he was on the DL for 10 days, there could be more to this.
The former MVP is hitting .265 with four homers and 17 RBI on the season. We'll definitely keep you posted on his status moving forward this week.
