After missing the first month of the season due to a LAT injury, Oakland Athletics ace Sonny Gray wil return to the bump for the team's game against the Minnesota Twins on Tuesday.
Gray put up six scoreless innings in his last rehab start in Triple-A last week and seems to be a full go.
We're going to want to see how Gray performs in a couple starts before actually looking at him as a fantasy-relevant option. Remember, the 27-year-old former All-Star pitched to a 5.69 ERA and 1.50 WHIP en route to finishing with a 5-11 mark last season.
Though, it must be noted that Gray was dealing with injuries throughout the duration of the season. When he was fully healthy back in 2015, the A's ace tallied a 2.73 ERA and 1.08 WHIP in 31 starts.
