Toronto Blue Jays third baseman and former AL MVP Josh Donaldson will miss the next 2-3 weeks of action after straining his calf during workouts this weekend.
It won't limit Donaldson for the start of ther regular season but he's sure to miss a few spring training games as the exhibition slate gets going later this month.
Donaldson, 31, is coming off a 2016 campaign that saw him hit 38 homers and drive in 99 runs. Let's hope this doesn't slow him down to start the season. He's considered the second-best fantasy third baseman in baseball behind Manny Machado.
