After missing the past six weeks due to tendinitis in his pitching hand, Chicago Cubs starting pitcher Kyle Hendericks has been activated off the DL and will start Monday against the Chicago White Sox. 

Prior to suffering said injury back in June, Hendricks was having a difficult go at it this season. He's pitching to a 4-3 record with a 4.09 ERA and 1.20 WHIP in 11 starts on the year.

This comes on the heels of Hendricks boasting an NL-best 2.13 ERA to go with a 16-8 mark en route to finishing third in the NL Cy Young voting last season. 

The hope here is that Hendricks' time off will help him round into 2016 form. We're going to want to see him take to the bump a couple times before drawing a real conclusion from a fantasy baseball perspective. But the track record of success is there,
