Ray has really turned the corner and become a legitimate asset when on the mound. Over his last three starts spanning 15 innings he has allowed only two runs while striking out 22 hitters. Now Ray has the easiest offense he has faced in his last three starts in the form of the Braves. The Braves have been better on offense since acquiring Matt Kemp and calling up Dansby Swanson, but they still are not very good as evidenced by the fact that they still rank 30th in runs, 30th in slugging percentage and 16th in batting average. The Braves strike out a lot as a team and should be easy pickings for Ray.
