Lester had hit a bit of a rough patch in his two starts prior to the all-star break but he returned to ace like form in his first start back against the Mets throwing 7.1 innings of one run ball with three strikeouts. National League life has been very kind to Lester these last two seasons, and facing teams like the Brewers multiple times a year is a big reason why. The Brewers rank near the bottom of National League in offense, and at any given time guys like Lucroy, Villar, or Braun could be traded thus really making an opposing pitchers easy.
