Sanchez has been spectacular for the Jays this season, and has turned into their ace that they thought he could become. Sanchez has been nearly unhittable since giving up six runs to the Orioles on June 12th. Since then Sanchez has made six starts, holding opponents to two or fewer runs in every start. While his K/9 is a tick under eight during that time that makes up for by collecting wins while being backed by that powerful Jays offense.
