Starting Pitcher

Top Play

Julio Teheran, Atlanta Braves, ($8,300)

While the MLB Trade Deadline could always claim a DFS victim with late scratches, it seems highly doubtful as of now that the Braves will move Teheran within the next 24 hours, if at all. So he will take the mound against the Philadelphia Phillies, who have been dreadful since the All Star Break. Across 15 games, the Phillies have averaged 2.8 runs per game. This is an ideal matchup for Teheran, especially given the Phillies strike out in nearly 22 percent of their at bats versus right-handed hitters this season. Teheran has his own track record to back up the matchup, with a 2.71 ERA this season and a 4.11 K/BB ratio.
