There might be a little debate for the top play on Sunday between Syndergaard and Corey Kluber, but the extra $600 in savings to spend elsewhere give Syndergaard a little added bonus. Syndergaard has been tremendous this season with a 2.10 FIP, 11.05 K/9 and only a .246 batting average allowed to opponents. He'll start the week off against the Colorado Rockies, who have just a .245 team batting average in the second half. Colorado also sees a dramatic drop in batting average (.301 versus .239) and slugging percentage (.524 versus .384) when they are on the road as opposed to hitting at Coors.
