Verlander has been pretty darn good for the Tigers over his last nine starts. Only twice has he allowed more than three runs, and four times he has exited a game after allowing one or no runs. During that stretch and owns a 5-2 record with a 2.34 ERA, and 69 strikeouts in 65 innings as he has done a great job at putting his team in a position to win. Now he faces a Cleveland Indians team that he is very familiar against and has dominated. In 354 at bats he has held the Indians to a .243 batting average with 77 strikeouts. I feel like Verlander is just what the Tigers need in order to snap the Indians eight game winning streak.
