Despite getting lit up in his last two starts, there is a lot of reason to be optimistic about Tanaka tonight. Tanka faces one of the weaker offense in baseball in the A’s, and he pitches on the road where he has been dominant this season. Tanaka owns a fantastic 1.83 ERA, and opposing teams are only batting .194. All of Tanaka’s homeruns allowed this season have come at home, and with the A’s only ranking 20th in runs, and having lost their best hitters in Josh Reddick due to a broken thumb, Tanaka should be right at the top in terms of fantasy points.
