Fernandez has been the every bit the ace he wa before the Tommy John surgery, and despite the matchup against a top ranked offense he should provide an excellent start. Fernandez has the best strikeout rate among qualified starters, and he feasts off of right handed hitters. Since a surprisingly bad start against the Reds three starts ago eh has held the next two opponents to no runs on just nine hits with 15 strikeouts in 13 innings. Despite this game being played on the road where Fernandez has not been as good I trust him enough to pitch a strong game and come away with a win since the Indians have Trevor Bauer on the mound.
