The Chicago Cubs will give outfielder Kyle Schwarber and Jason Heyward days off for the afternoon outing against the Milwaukee Brewers on Wednesday.
Neither player is injured. Rather, this is a normal day of rest throughout the long grind that is the MLB season.
Schwarber has struggled to a .241 start to the season, but he does have three homers and eight RBI in 14 games. Meanwhile, Heyward is hitting .300 with five RBI on the young year.
Jon Jay, Albert Almora and Matt Szczur will start in the outfield from left to right for the Cubs.
