The cap for FanDuel is $35,000 with only one player at each position like a real MLB lineup (with the exception of outfielders where you can start any three players that are outfield eligible).

The scoring system for FanDuel    is as follows:

Batters: Single = 1pt, Double = 2pts, Triple = 3pts, Homerun = 4pts, RBI = 1pt, Run = 1pt, Walk = 1pt,
Stolen Base = 2pts, Hit By Pitch = 1, Out (calculated as at bats - hits) = -.25pt
Pitchers: Win  = 4pts, Earned Run = -1pt, Strike Out = 1pt, Innings Pitched = 1pt

My Value Picks

Pitcher
Yovani Gallardo, Brewers, $7,000:
Gallardo has reestablished himself as a number one pitcher.  He doesn’t have the strikeout numbers of years past but Gallardo has managed to keep his ERA low all season long and is once again a viable pitcher in daily leagues.  Next up for Gallardo is a matchup against the Cubs which should prove to be a relatively easy one.  His last time out against the Cubs he threw seven innings of one run ball with six strikeouts.

Catcher
Salvador Perez, Royals, $2,700:
Perez is heating back up at the plate batting .296 with a homerun and 11 RBI over the last 15 days.  On the mound for hte Rangers is Derek Holland who has not made a start yet this year and had some rough rehab starts for the Rangers.

First Base
Albert Pujols, Angels, $3,300:
Pujols isn’t the power threat he once was but he can still be a valuable option in daily leagues.  Over the last 15 days he is batting .316 with six runs scored and nine RBI.  For the season he has 83 RBI which means he is still a productive batter facing a struggling Brad Peacock who has a 5.13 ERA and a 1.58 WHIP this season.

Second Base
Joe Panik, Giants, $3,000:
If you don’t know the name Joe Panik by now you will soon.  He batted .396 in August to bring his average up to .310 overall.  He even has 21 runs and 15 RBI to go along with the good average.  The one downfall is the lack of power and speed with only one homerun and no steals.  Now he’s batting in the thin air of Colorado where he may able to get a cheap homerun or at least a couple of hits against the anemic Rockies pitching staff.

Third Base
Pablo Sandoval, Giants $3,200:
Sandoval had a great month of August batting .345 with three homeruns 16 runs scored and 18 RBI.  He carried that hot hitting into September against the Rockies going 2-5 with an RBI last night.  At just over $3,000 there aren’t many better options at third base right now than the kung fu panda.

Short Stop
Jhonny Peralta, Cardinals, $3,000:
The 32 year old shortstop is having a great year offensively and has already topped every offensive category from last season other than batting average.  Jeff Locke has had a good year pitching but has allowed his fair share of hits this year leaving plenty of room for Peralta to have a good game offensively.

Outfield
Ender Inciarte, Diamondbacks, $3,100:
Since his hitting streak ended all Inciarte has done is continue to hit the ball for the Diamondbacks.  He is batting .288 over the last 15 days and has been very active on the base paths during that timeframe with six steals.  Even though the Diamondbacks have been much weaker offensively with the loss of Paul Goldschmidt Inciarte should have plenty of value and run scoring opportunities while leading off.

My Lineup

Pitcher
Yovani Gallardo, Brewers, $7,000

Catcher
Yan Gomes, Indians, $3,500

First Base
Jose Abreu, White Sox, $4,400

Second Base
Joe Panik, Giants, $3,000

Third Base
Pablo Sandoval, Giants, $3,200

Short Stop
Jhonny Peralta, Cardinals, $3,000

Outfield
Ender Inciarte, Diamondbacks, $3,100

Outfield
Kole Calhoun, Angels, $3,200

Outfield
Jose Bautista, Blue Jays, $4,300

Don't forget to check your lineup before each game to make sure that everyone in your lineup is starting. The last thing you want is a zero spot in your lineup costing yourself money.
