Miami Marlins outfielder Giancarlo Stanton remains sidelined on Saturday due to soreness on his right side. He's missed the past three games after injuring himself on Tuesday against the Tampa Bay Rays.
Stanton, is hitting just .214 with 12 homers and 26 RBI on the season. Though, he did go deep in his last game on Tuesday.
With Stanton out of the lineup, Ichiro Suzuki and Cole Gillespie join the hot hitting Marcell Ozuna in the lineup against an Atlanta Braves starter in Aaron Blair that has posted a 0-3 record with a 7.59 ERA and 1.88 WHIP in five starts this season. Opponents are hitting at a ridiculous .341 clip against him.
Ozuna is hitting at a .343 clip with nine homers and 26 RBI on the season. He's put up 16 hits in his last 28 at-bats. Gillespie is getting the start of an injured Christian Yelich, who isn't in the lineup due to a back injury.
At it relates to Stanton, the expectation is that he will be back in a day or two.
