The San Francisco Giants won't only be without reliever Hunter Strickland for the next few days following Monday's bench clearing brawl that saw Bryce Harper go after Strickland.
Involved in the incident, Giants outfielder Michael Morse has been placed on the seven-day concussion disabled list. It's another short-term blow to a team that has been bitten hard by the injury bug in the outfield.
Though, for his part, Morse has been downright awful for the Giants this season. He's hitting just .194 with one homer and three RBI in 36 at-bats this season. From a fantasy perspective, this is pretty irrelevant in the grand scheme of things.
It just adds another layer to what has been the talk of baseball since Memorial Day.
