The Houston Astros received somewhat of a scare Thursday against the Oakland Athletics when outfielder George Springer had to exit the game after being hit in the hand by A's pitcher Jesse Hahn.
Springer was seen exiting the field in a nice amount of pain, which should definitely be cause for alarm in Houston. Updates will likely come immediately after the game ends.
Springer, 27, is hitting .277 with 21 homers and 46 RBI on the season.
Let's hope for Spring, the Astros and fantasy owners the world over that this is not a long-term injury.
