The Miami Marlins on Monday placed first baseman Justin Bour on the 10-day disabled list after he had to exit the team's game against the Texas Rangers.
The injury is being described as a strained right oblique. It's not yet known how long Bour will be sidelined, but similar injuries in the past have led to extensive stays on the DL.
This is some bad news for fantasy owners who have relied on a surprising Bour to perform at a high level this season. The 29-year-old first baseman is hitting a robust .289 with a .366 OBP. He's added 21 homers to go with 63 RBI as well. With Bour sidelined, Tyler Moore will see regular starts at first.
