Texas Rangers outfielder Carlos Gomez will undergo an MRI on an injury hamstring after he left Sunday's game against the Oakland Athletics prematurely.
There's no telling how severe the injury is at this point, but Gomez having to undergo an MRI is most definitely not good news for either the player or the team.
The veteran outfielder is hitting just .230 with four homers and 13 RBI on the season. This comes on the heels of a disastrous 2016 campaign that saw the former All-Star post a .231 average between Houston and Texas.
