The Seattle Mariners will be without third baseman Kyle Seager when they look to avoid a sweep at the hands of the Oakland Athletics on Sunday.
Seager has been dealing with a sore hip for a few days now, and the Mariners figured it was best to hold him out of the lineup against an A's starter in Andrew Triggs who has yet to give up an earned run in three starts this season.
Seager is hitting .246 with zero homers and 12 RBI on the season. He will be replaced in the lineup by Mike Freeman, who is hitting just .143 on the season. Needless to say, you will have to look elsewhere for fantasy impact from a struggling Mariners lineup.
