Toronto Blue Jays manager John Gibbons indicated that third baseman Josh Donaldson should be able to return to the team's lineup this weekend. "We'll see," Gibbons added.
Donaldson has been out since mid-April with a right calf strain. It has already cost him a month of action and will force him out through the remainder of the week.
In nine games this season, Donaldson is hitting .310 with two homers and four RBI. Since joining the Blue Jays back in 2015, the former MVP has posted a .291 average with 80 homers and 226 RBI in just 322 games. Needless to say, fantasy owners are elated that Donaldson will be returning here soon.
