Seattle Mariners shortstop Jean Segura has had a tremendous first season in the Pacific Northwest after being acquired from the Arizona Diamondbacks during the offseason.
He entered Thursday's action hitting a league-best .344 with four homers and 20 RBI.
Unfortunately for the M's and those who rely on Segura from a fantasy perspective, he had to exit Thursday's game against the Colorado Rockies with an ankle injury. The extent of the injury is not yet known. But let's all hope Segura is okay.
