The Seattle Mariners expect shortstop Jean Segura to return from the disabled list later this week. Segura has missed the past three weeks with a high ankle sprain. The original expectation was that he would be out for much longer.
Extended after suffering said injury, Segura has had a tremendous first season in Seattle. He's hitting .341 with for homers, 20 RBI and 29 runs scored in 43 games. Once Segura does return to the M's lineup, he will once again be a top-end fantasy play.
