MLB Plays of the Year So Far

MLB Plays of the Year So Far

Need a break from analysis, numbers, and batting averages? Sometimes a breath of fresh air is best for our minds. Especially at the halfway point of the baseball season. We know that the fantasy baseball season can be tough, and the regular baseball season can be stress-inducing. But watching baseball is fun, and there is always a few plays that put us in awe of what we just saw. Vin Scully said it best "I don't believe, what I just saw"

Without further ado, here are some of the best plays baseball has had to offer this season.

First things first, possibly the best play of the season came before any other baseball games were played. The Athletics' Josh Reddick robbed not one, but two home runs. On the first day of spring training. No, that is not a replay.

The next play actually came in the regular season, but we have seen it before and will see it again. But, it's a thing of beauty every time. Ladies and gentlemen, "dat dude" himself, Brandon Phillips.

Phillips also turned a nifty double play with partner Zack Cozart. This looks easy, but that is just how Phillips does it.

Speaking of double plays, look at this Giants "twin-killing" from Brandon Crawford and Brandon Hicks

We have not seen any diving catches yet, have we? Those are usually the most exciting. How about this play from Craig Gentry?

Wait, he did it again?!

There is something about those Athletics...they just keep producing web gems...this throw is just...wow. Yoenis Cespedes has a knack for these kinds of things.

What could be the best play so far, just happened a few days ago. What a play by Brandon Barnes here.

Any other's I missed? Please comment with the link for everyone to see. Stay tuned for more great plays.
