Baltimore Orioles third baseman Manny Machado will miss his fourth consecutive game when his team takes on the red-hot New York Yankees on Sunday. 

Machado is dealing with a wrist injury, but the expectation here is that he will not be placed on the DL. He's trying to get some throwing done prior to the game with the hope of an early-week return for the Orioles. 

With Machado out, fellow veteran Ruben Tejada will continue to man the hot corner for Baltimore, who fell to New York 16-3 on Saturday. 

The 2016 MVP candidate is hitting just .213 with a .289 on-base percentage thus far on the season. That came on the heels of him posting a .294/.343 split with 37 homers and 96 RBI last season. 

Tejada has just two hits in nine at-bats after being claimed from the aforementioned Yankees and their Triple-A affiliate earlier in the season. Obviously, he's not a DFS option here. 

Baltimore will be taking on Yankees righty Chad Green, who has pitched to a 1.62 ERA with a 0.60 WHIP in seven appearances (all relief) this season. Green will be making his first start of the season after putting up eight starts as a rookie last season.
