The Colorado Rockies received some good news on the MRI All-Star third baseman Nolan Arenado underwent after being hit on the hand by a pitch this past weekend.
The MVP candidate suffered just a bruised hand and will miss 2-3 games. The way the play itself looked, it seems that Arenado might have suffered a much more serious injury.
Arenado, 26, is hitting .313 to go with 26 homers and an NL-leading 100 RBI. He's been among the top fantasy baseball players on the season.
