Kyle Drabek, a former first-round pick of the Philadelphia Phillies, has played parts of seven seasons in the Major Leagues with three different teams. 

Once seen as a can't-miss prospect, Drabek has never performed at a high level. He boasts a career 5.26 ERA in 43 games (30 starts). 

After attempting to latch on with the Arizona Diamondbacks earlier this year, Drabek has turned his attention to actually playing the field — shortstop in particular. 

It's in this that the San Francisco Giants have signed the former top prospect to a minor league deal with the anticipation that he will move to the field. Though, it must also be noted that the team hasn't rule out a return to the bump for the former top prospect. 

While this isn't necessarily relevant from a fantasy perspective out of the gate, it's definitely something to keep an eye on. Despite boasting the best record in baseball heading into the second half of the season, the Giants have had their fair share of issues in the bullpen. 

This is an area the team has been looking to address. It definitely wouldn't be surprising to see Drabek somehow find himself on the mound at AT&T Park later this year.
