Conor McGregor Wants to Fight ‘Brain Dead, Stuttering Fool’ Diego Sanchez in Dublin

UFC featherweight prospect Conor McGregor badly wants to fight former UFC lightweight title challenger Diego Sanchez when he returns from a torn ACL injury next year and it sounds like “The Dream” is happy to oblige.

Sanchez initially tweeted that he would like to fight the winner of Nate Diaz vs. Gray Maynard III, which headlines The Ultimate Fighter Season 18 Finale this Saturday, and then responded to a fan asking why he didn’t want to fight McGregor.

“Because the point is to climb the ladder,” the Greg Jackson’s MMA product tweeted. As expected, it did not take very long for “The Notorious” to respond.

“Only reason you haven't been cut 2 Bellator, with the other has-beens, is because you defend shots with your nose. 0-4 #CUT,” McGregor fired back.

While Sanchez has never lost four straight bouts in his nearly 11-year career, he is 2-2 in his past four and many pundits believe the judges gifted him decisions against Martin Kampmann and Takanori Gomi during that 20-month span.

After going back and forth a couple more times, McGregor proclaimed that he will make his return fight in his native Dublin, Ireland and welcomed an “Ireland vs. Mexico” grudge match.

Sanchez apparently has slightly different plans in mind:

“I'm up next in Dallas Texas in March let me know if you want to get #KTFO ? Your all talk #challengeisout,” he wrote, later adding “see talks shit but when the challenge is laid out he crawls back into his little shell. #dallas #letsdoit,” when McGregor did not immediately reply.

McGregor seemingly had the last laugh when he did decide to retaliate early this morning.

“You brain dead, stuttering fool. Read the fine print. And put your bib on so you don't drool on my tweets.”

Sanchez is known for his uncanny ability to take a beating, something that could undeniably affect his mental health later on in life if he continues to have gritty stand up wars with his opponents.

McGregor vs. Sanchez by the summer of next year: great idea or a waste of time?
