Former UFC welterweight title challenger turned color commentator Dan Hardy has never been a big Matt Hughes fan and it looks like that isn’t going to change anytime soon.
Responding to the news that Hughes would be getting a mini-series to document an African hunting safari (h/t Bloody Elbow), “The Outlaw” was short and sweet with his thoughts on the matter.
“That man is a real piece of s---. And I never swear on social networks,” Hardy wrote.
This is the latest chapter in the Hughes-Hardy feud, where hunter Hughes has received harsh criticism from animal lover Hardy.
The current UFC Vice President of Athlete Development and Government Relations, Hughes retired from MMA after a knockout loss to Josh Koscheck at UFC 135 in September 2011.
Hardy has also not been active inside the cage in recent memory, last competing at UFC on FUEL 5 in September 2012 where he scored a clear-cut decision over Amir Sadollah.
The English striker lost four in a row between March 2010 and August 2011, beginning with a failed title bid against then-champ Georges St-Pierre UFC 111.
He has won two matchups since then, but at 32 years old, his next move remains up in the air as a rare heart condition has kept him on the sidelines in recent memory.
Should Hughes and Hardy settle their differences inside the Octagon or is their ongoing feud not worth giving a second though about?
