Surging UFC lightweight contender Donald Cerrone kept his win streak alive on Friday – but this time he was inside a court of law instead of the Octagon.
One year ago, “Cowboy” was charged with third degree assault in what was classified as a “boat rage” incident on Colorado’s Lake Granby.
Cerrone, who maintained his innocence in the matter from day one, tweeted once the jury reached a verdict on Friday.
After coming up short against perennial contender Rafael dos Anjos about one year ago, the former WEC title challenger has rattled off four straight victories (all finishes) and has already voiced his intention to fight at least one more time this year.
