The good news here for the Chicago Bulls is that Dwyane Wade's injured wrist seems to be okay. The bad news? Chicago has listed Wade as out Thursday night against the Boston Celtics with an illness.
Wade has missed the past two games due to the aforementioned injured wrist. Considering that's not the reason the team is giving for him being out Thursday, the expectation is that Wade will be fine when the Bulls return from the All-Star Break.
Thursday's game is Chicago's final one before said break and it sure looks like Michael Carter-Williams will continue to get extended minutes. MCW is averaging 11.8 points, 5.2 rebounds and 3.7 assists over the past six games.
