The Cleveland Cavaliers will be without All-Star point guard Kyrie Irving for Saturday's game against the New York Knicks at Madison Square Garden. He's out with what's being listed as right quad tightness.
DeAndre Liggins, who LeBron James has called out as not ready to make an impact, will get the start in Irving's stead. Liggins is averaging just 2.7 points and 1.0 assists per game this season. Needless to say, he's irrelevant from a fantasy perspective.
Look for James to take on a larger scoring role going up against best bud Carmelo Anthony with Irving out of action in this one.
The good news here is that it's unlikely a long-term injury for Irving.
