As his Los Angeles Clippers continue to struggle on the court without him, All-Star guard Chris Paul remains on track to return within the 6-to-8 week time frame suggested after he underwent surgery on an injured thumb in mid January.
Paul has missed the past nine games to injury with the Clippers posting a 2-7 mark during that span. It's another unfortunatey injury issue for the Clippers, who were without Blake Griffin for an extended period of time earlier this season.
The good news here is that Paul could very well return immediately after the upcoming All-Star Break. Should that not happen, it's unlikely to be more than a couple weeks after that.
Paul is averaging 17.5 points, 5.3 rebounds and 9.7 assists this season.
Until Paul does indeed return to the court, Griffin will continue to be an elite-level DFS play. The power forward is averaging 23.5 points, 6.0 rebounds and 4.8 assists in the six games he's played in with Paul out.
