Rose indicated Thursday afternoon that he will not play against the Philadelphia 76ers. With Rose out, Aaron Brooks will likely see more action against Philadelphia. He's averaging 9.5 points over the past two games.

 

Pau Gasol Also Sitting

Sitting with a shoulder injury, Gasol's absence leaves the door open for both Taj Gibson and rookie Bobby Portis to get minutes against Philadelphia. Gibson is averaging eight points and seven rebounds over the past five games. He's the obvious play in this one.
