Daily Fantasy Basketball Dime 4.12.14

This NBA regular season is quickly coming to a close, but lucky for us that means it is about to be NBA playoff time!  FanDuel.com will have daily fantasy basketball contests throughout the NBA playoffs all the way up until Finals so if you have not signed up yet stop missing out and click that link over there to the right.  This will also give you a 100% deposit bonus on your initial deposit, which is one fantastic deal.

Point Guard:

Star – Jeff Teague, $6,800: The Hawks are in a near must win situation tonight, unfortunately they are playing the Heat.  Teague will be needed to have a huge game tonight if the Hawks stand a chance at winning this game and staying ahead of the Knicks for the eighth playoff spot in the East.

Stud – Ramon Sessions, $6,600: Sessions minutes and production have been solid lately, which is all you can ask for with only a few days left to this NBA regular season.

Scrub – Aaron Brooks, $5,900: At this point Ty Lawson may as well be “out for the season” as there is no reason, as little chance he returns.  This will continue to open up big minutes and solid fantasy production for Brooks for these last couple games.

Shooting Guard:

Star – Eric Bledsoe $7,200:  The Suns lost to the Spurs last night dropping them to ninth in the Western Conference making tonight a very important game for the Suns, as they play the current seventh place team the Mavericks.  Bledsoe had a big game last night and with Goran Dragic hobbled he will be needed to have another big game tonight.

Stud – Randy Foye, $6,400: Foye is averaging 51.2 fantasy points a game over his last two games and although 50+ points again tonight may be a bit of a lofty expectation, the Jazz still are not going to slow him down.

Scrub - Austin Rivers, $4,800: The Pelicans are a mess and are so devastated by injury that Rivers makes one of the better value plays available tonight.  He has scored 30+ fantasy points in each of his last two games and a matchup versus the up-tempo Rockets is not going to slow that down tonight.

Small Forward:

Star – Jeff Adrien, $6,300: I am also a big fan of Chandler Parsons tonight, but a possible rest day has me listing Adrien.  If it is confirmed that Parsons will not rest he makes a solid play tonight as well.  Back to Adrien, he underperformed a bit last night but his solid performances the previous five straight games makes him a fairly safe bet to bounce back tonight.

Stud – Khris Middleton, $5,100: At this point in the season knowing you will see 30+ minutes out of a player is about as good as it gets.  The price is average and the production has been too, but small forward is a tricky one tonight and Adrien has been right near value three games in a row.

Scrub - Jeremy Evans, $3,700:  In the Jazz’s last three games Evans has logged 23+ minutes leading to easy value on his near minimum priced salary.  Do not expect anything too fancy, but he provides some excellent salary relief.

Power Forward:

Star – Paul Millsap, $8,500: The Hawks have still not clinched the eighth seed in the Eastern Conference playoffs making tonight’s game versus Miami and another near must win game.  The Heat do not fair well against opposing big men and Millsap will be in for another good game tonight.

Stud – Kenneth Faried, $8,000: Faried still has not slowed down his production it is just entirely too bad he could not have played at this level all season.  He has a solid matchup tonight versus the porous Jazz frontcourt that he will have little issue abusing on his way to another big night.

Scrub - Brandon Bass, $4,200: Hard to know exactly what to expect out of Bass, but it is impossible to ignore games like last night’s 37.3 fantasy point outburst.  He makes a great tournament play tonight with his upside and has scored 26+ fantasy points in four of his last six games.

Center:

Star – Enes Kanter, $6,100: Marvin Williams sat out last night opening up another start for Kanter, and is likely to miss tonight’s contest as well.  As long as Williams remains out Kanter makes a great fill in options, especially at his current price.

Stud – Timofey Mozgov, $5,200: Mozgov pulled down an absurd 29 rebounds last game on his way to 68.3 fantasy points.  Solid matchup tonight versus the Jazz and he will look to keep his newfound hot streak rolling.

Scrub – Jeff Withey $3,800:  In the last two games Withey has logged 24 and 25 minutes for the Pelicans now that Anthony Davis is done for the year.  Decent matchup for him tonight, especially if Dwight Howard misses the game, and he should log another start at power forward.

Good luck tonight.  Be sure to follow both @eDraftSports and me @Cui2iousGeoi2ge
