Three more playoffs game two’s tonight, and three more teams will look to get even after losing game one. Point Guard
Star – Damian Lillard, $7,500: The Trail Blazers versus Rockets series will continue to be the highest scoring playoff series round one and will therefore bring the most daily fantasy basketball gold to the table. Lillard dominated the “tough defense” of Patrick Beverley game one finishing with 48.3 fantasy points, and now Beverley is also a bit hobbled. These are all fantastic signs pointing to another big night for one of the most talented young guards in the NBA.
Stud – Tony Parker, $5,900: FanDuel sure is being sweet keeping Parker’s price at a discount after a big 37.8 fantasy point game one. The worries about minute limits and surprise rest are over because the playoffs are here. Be sure to take advantage of the discount, as his price is going to rise sooner then later.
Shooting Guard
Scrub – Devin Harris $4,400: Shooting guard is a bit of a tough position today with the studs being quite overpriced, so save some money. Harris logged 32 minutes game one and although Jose Calderon will start for the Mavericks tonight Harris will still have a big role off the bench.
Scrub - Gary Neal, $3,700: The upside here is a bit limited, but the 28 minutes game one shows that Neal is a part of the Bobcats game plan off the bench. He is unlikely to do anything incredibly fancy versus a stout Miami team, but with only three games on the schedule you must save money wherever possible.
Small Forward
Stud – Chandler Parsons, $7,600: Parsons contributes in multiple stat categories, which causes him to stack up fantasy points in a hurry. As mentioned above the high point totals of this series leads to big fantasy numbers and the Rockets will be looking to get even after throwing game one away.
Stud - Nicolas Batum, $7,400: The options at small forward today are slim luckily Batum is fairly priced tonight. Similarly to Parsons, Batum is a stat sheet stuffer, which makes for fantasy points in a hurry. Batum is not only good for points, rebounds and assists as he chips in with some blocks and steals, padding his total fantasy points scored.
Power Forward
Star – Tim Duncan, $7,000: Just like his teammate Parker, Duncan remains extremely underpriced as well. He logged 38 minutes game one, and with that many minutes Duncan will have little issue paying off his discounted price.
Scrub - Josh McRoberts, $4,700: McRoberts has played well for the Bobcats this season, he has just remained in the shadow of the dominant Al Jefferson. Jefferson is a bit hobbled with a foot issue, which is going to cause McRoberts to step up on the boards. He remains priced under $5,000 and finished game one with 30+ fantasy points scored.
Center
Star – Dwight Howard, $8,400: The no-brainer number one center option tonight now that Jefferson is banged up. Howard was priced at $8,000 game one and put up 54.5 fantasy points, and his price only jumped $400. Take advantage of the discount before FanDuel.com catches his price up with his production.
Scrub – Tiago Splitter $4,800: Splitter will continue to be part of the Spurs game plan to cover Dirk Nowitzki, which will keep his minutes up. Howard is clearly the smart choice at center tonight, but if you are looking for a cheap center for an alternate tournament team then Splitter is the way to go.
