Daily Fantasy Basketball Dime- April 22, 2014

Only three games on the schedule tonight, but there is still plenty of daily fantasy basketball action!  As always FanDuel.com will have all sorts of contests available so be sure to click the link over there to the right if you have not signed up yet.

Yesterday’s daily fantasy basketball dime included quite a few plays for today so be sure to refer back to that article to read about Kyle Lowry, Greivis Vasquez, Jimmy Butler, Paul George, Paul Pierce, Taj Gibson and Pero Antic.  Today’s article brings you a bonus pick at each position to combine with yesterday’s two-day article found here and help you put together a daily fantasy basketball team that will win you some real money at FanDuel.com.

Point Guard:

Deron Williams, $6,700: Williams put together a nice game in the Nets game one upset over the Raptors and finished with 30.3 fantasy points.  His opposition in Lowry brings some tough defense to the table, but Williams will need to score for the Nets to pull out another win tonight.

Shooting Guard:

Lance Stephenson $6,800:  One of the reasons for the Pacers success this season was the emergence of triple-double machine Lance Stephenson.  To end the regular season he struggled along with the rest of the Pacers but a near 30-point fantasy point performance game one versus Atlanta shows him getting his game back on track.  Expect good things tonight at a very modest price.

Small Forward:

Trevor Ariza, $5,600: Ariza contributes in multiple stat-categories, which allows him to quickly stack up fantasy points.  He played near 40 minutes in game one leading to an impressive performance and on that many minutes again tonight he will have little issue paying off his fairly cheap price tag.

Power Forward:

Nene Hilario $6,500: Nene exploded for 42.1 fantasy points in game one and a repeat performance is a bit of a lofty expectation but he is certainly quite capable of doing it again.  This upside, coupled with his inconsistencies, makes him better suited for tournament play over 50/50 and Head to Head games.

Center:

Jonas Valanciunas, $6,600: Valanciunas finished the regular season playing some great basketball and carried that right into game one with a 17 point and 18 rebound game.  His consistent play lately combined with his modest price make him one of the best values available tonight on FanDuel.com tonight.

Good luck tonight.  Be sure to follow both @eDraftSports and me @Cui2iousGeoi2ge
