Daily Fantasy Basketball Dime- April 30, 2014

Another team eliminated from the NBA playoffs last night when the Washington Wizards beat the Chicago Bulls and won the series four games to one.  Tonight brings another exciting three game night of playoff basketball to the table.  The Raptors versus Nets and Spurs versus Mavericks series are all tied up at two games each, but the Trail Blazers have a great chance to finish off the Rockets going into tonight with a three to one series lead.  If you are missing out on the daily fantasy basketball action over at FanDuel.com be sure to use the eDraft link to sign up and receive a 100% deposit bonus on your initial deposit.

Point Guard

Star – Damian Lillard, $7,800:  Lillard is coming off his worst game so far this series and still finished with 34.2 fantasy points.  In each other game this series he has scored 40+ fantasy points and with a chance to finish off the Rockets tonight he will get his offense going early.

Scrub – Greivis Vasquez, $5,200: Coming off the bench for Toronto, Vasquez continues to play some solid basketball.  He has played at least 25 minutes in each game this series which is giving him ample opportunity to value at his low end price tag.

Shooting Guard

Star – DeMar DeRozen $7,500:  DeRozen opened this series with a dud but has scored at least 30 fantasy points in each game since.  He is coming off a breakout season and has continued his high level of offensive production right into the playoffs.

Scrub - Manu Ginobli, $5,400:  The dollar for dollar stud of the playoffs so far.  He is average 30.68 fantasy points a game this series and still remains priced at an incredible discount.

Small Forward

Stud – Nicolas Batum, $7,800: Batum has stepped up his level of play the last two games scoring 41+ fantasy points in each.  The Trail Blazers versus Rockets series continues to carry a ton of daily fantasy basketball value due to the up-tempo and high scoring games.

Stud - Paul Pierce, $6,100:  Pierce is averaging 27.88 fantasy points a game during round one and still remains moderately priced.  Small forward is a tricky position to fill giving Pierce some great value for all contests with his consistent play.

Power Forward

Star – Tim Duncan $7,800: Duncan’s minutes have greatly increased during the playoffs, but he has yet to have a big 50 fantasy point game.  Tonight could be the night and a price tag of under $8000 is one fantastic deal for a star of his caliber.

Scrub - Patrick Patterson, $4,800: Finding salary cap relief is tricky on a three game slate, but Patterson helps that out tonight.  He has scored at least 20 fantasy points in each game this series and although it may not be fancy it gets the job done.

Center

Star – Dwight Howard, $8,700: Howard still remains priced under $9k but is averaging over 50 fantasy points a game this series.  He will easily be among the top scoring players in fantasy points tonight and is near a must paly at this price.

Scrub – Tiago Splitter $5,200: If you cannot find the money to fit in Howard tonight Splitter will provide some value.  He has played well in all but one game this series and can be used in the dire situation you cannot play Howard.
