Today brings another exciting Saturday of playoff basketball with two teams getting a chance to redeem themselves in front of their hometown crowds. Both the Nets and Trail Blazers are down 0 -2 in their respective series and heading into must win games tonight if they want a chance on winning their series. Point Guard:
Stud – Tony Parker, $6,700: The Spurs have smashed the Trail Blazers two games in a row and tonight the series heads back to Portland, which should give the Trail Blazers a better chance of keeping the game close. Through the first two games Parker is averaging 42 fantasy points a game and he will continue to put on a clinic versus young stud Damian Lillard.
Scrub – Shaun Livingston, $4,300: “With Livingston starting again for the Nets he has played 33 minutes in each game so far this series versus the Heat. This resulted in him finishing last game with 24.5 fantasy points. As long as he continues to see 30+ minutes on the court he will have an excellent opportunity to value at his low-end price.” – From yesterday’s Dime.
Shooting Guard:
Stud – Joe Johnson $6,300: Johnson has had two very average games versus the Heat to open this series, which means a big game is certainly on the horizon. Tonight's game is in front of the Brooklyn crowd giving Johnson a fantastic opportunity to have a big game on the offensive end of the floor.
Scrub - Marco Belinelli, $3,700: Coming in at only $200 over minimum price Belinelli makes for some fantasy value tonight as has averaged 20.9 fantasy points a game this series.
Small Forward:
Stud – Trevor Ariza, $6,000: In two of the three games so far in the Wizards versus Pacers series Ariza has scored at least 34 fantasy points. With the Pacers focusing their defensive energy on Bradley Beal is opens up a fantastic opportunity for Ariza to continue to play at a high level.
Stud - Kawhi Leonard, $6,600: “The Spurs have been dismantling the Trail Blazers, but the Spurs studs have continued to be a fantastic source of fantasy points. Leonard is averaging 35.2 fantasy points a game through two games this series and will be in for another solid outing on Saturday night.” - From yesterday’s Dime.
Power Forward:
Stud – Tim Duncan $7,700: “It would be nice to see the Trail Blazers be a competitive team this series so players like Duncan would be forced to play up to their potential. There is not a single power forward today that is not overpriced based on recent production, but a price tag of under $8k for Duncan is one of the better ones available.” - From yesterday’s Dime.
Scrub – Boris Diaw $4,200: The power forward player pool is ridiculously overpriced tonight making it a great place to find a little bit of salary cap relief. Diaw has played 20+ minutes in each of the first two games and should be worth around 20 fantasy points once again tonight.
Center:
Stud – Robin Lopez, $6,100: Lopez is averaging 26.1 fantasy points a game this series against the tough Spurs defense, which is certainly nothing to complain about at his current price. This series heads back to Portland where there Trail Blazers are a much better team and Lopez will get it going early tonight.
Stud – Roy Hibbert $4,100: There was little chance of Hibbert repeating his big 44.3 fantasy point game, but he did have a solid follow up performance with 25 fantasy points in game three. With his price still being bottom barrel cheap he makes a fantastic sleeper tonight, especially in tournament play.
Good luck tonight. Be sure to follow both @eDraftSports and me @Cui2iousGeoi2ge
