daily Fantasy Basketball Dime- May 3, 2014

Big Saturday night for playoff basketball with three game seven’s on the schedule.  The season will end for three NBA franchises tonight, which will make for some exciting daily fantasy basketball action as the players will be giving it their all on the court.

Point Guard:

Stud – Jeff Teague, $7,100:  Although the Hawks were unable to close out the series in game six Teague still put up a huge game, finishing with 38.6 fantasy points.  With the season on the line tonight Teague will take control off the offense once again and will have little issue paying of his midrange price.

Scrub – C.J. Watson, $3,800:  Watson has yet to do anything spectacular, but value is not exactly easy to come by during the playoffs.  He comes in at only $300 over minimum price and has logged 27 minutes in each of the last two games.

Shooting Guard:

Scrub – Tony Allen $5,400:  It is Allen’s job to slow down Kevin Durant, which is causing him to log some heavy minutes on the court.  His fantasy production has declined a bit the last two games but with Mike Conley banged up and Zach Randolph suspended Allen will need to step up his offensive production tonight.

Scrub - Kyle Korver, $4,600:  Korver had a bit of an off night during game six but had averaged near 28 fantasy points a game the three previous games.  With the season on the line tonight Korver will look to heat up from behind the arc early and his fantasy point total will reap the benefits.

Small Forward:

Star – Paul George, $9,600: Lucky for George he was not suspended for coming off the bench during game six’s altercation and he will be playing tonight.  He has averaged 46 fantasy points a game this series and it is “put up or shut up” time for the Pacers young superstar.

Scrub - James Johnson, $3,600:  With the Randolph suspension tonight Johnson will likely see a nice bump in production.  Whether or not he starts is irrelevant to his value as Randolph’s absence leaves a massive hole in the rotation.

Power Forward:

Stud – Serge Ibaka $7,700: Ibaka will be in for a big night against the backup power forward rotation of the Grizzlies tonight.  Look for his blocks and rebounds to increase with Randolph out of the Grizzlies lineup.

Stud - David West, $7,100: The Pacers turn to West in the face of tough situations, which resulted in a huge 49.2 fantasy point performance during game six.  With the season, and coach Vogel’s job, on the line West will be a big part of the game plan tonight.

Center:

Stud – Marc Gasol, $8,200: Gasol is the safe option at center tonight, especially with the suspension of Randolph forcing Gasol to increase his offensive production.

Stud – DeAndre Jordan $8,000: Gasol may be the safe play but Jordan carries the upside tonight.  His rebounding is impressive every game, but his total fantasy points scored is going to come down to his ability to get his offensive game going.

Good luck tonight.  Be sure to follow both @eDraftSports and me @Cui2iousGeoi2ge
