After acquiring All-Star center DeMarcus Cousins from the Sacramento Kings on Sunday, it's not a surprise that the New Orleans Pelicans have him in their lineup in the team's first game since this past weekend's All-Str Break.
It took time for all the players involved in the trade to pass physicals in order for it to become official, but Cousins is officially in the starting lineup Thursday against the Houston Rockets.
It's not a surprise, but we should expect a pretty strong outing from Cousins in his debut working alongside Anthony Davis. He's definitely going to be pumped up for this game and is slated to take on a Rockets squad that is yielding an average of 108 points per game this season.
