As the Chicago Bulls ready for Friday's matchup against the Phoenix Suns, they'll at least not be completely short-handed. While star Jimmy Butler remains a game-time call to play, guard Dwyane Wade told reporters this morning that he'll play through the illness.
Wade's return is nice news for owners in season-long leagues, who hope to get back their source of scoring with a handful of dimes and rebounds to go with it. Wade certainly carries some risk in daily fantasy basketball on a deep slate given he could face a limit on his minutes and his energy may not be quite up to his normal levels. But if Jimmy Butler is out once again, Wade will see plenty of touches in a matchup against the Suns that shouldn't feature a lot of defense.
Fire up Wade in your season-long leagues, but DFS players should be more cautious with the 35-year-old guard. Stay tuned for updates later today on Butler's avaialability for Friday.
