Eric Bledsoe Out Until After the All-Star Break

The Phoenix Suns will be without one of their best players for the next several weeks. Guard Eric Bledsoe suffered a non-contact knee injury against the Philadelphia 76ers on Saturday and will reportedly be out until after the All-Star break:

According to Paul Coro of the Arizona Republic, Bledsoe suffered a torn meniscus in his left knee. This comes after initial reports suggested it was just a sprain.

A potential All-Star prior to the injury, Bledsoe is averaging 20.4 points, 4.0 rebounds, 6.1 assists and 2.0 steals per game this year.

Losers of 15 of their past 20, the Suns are now in a difficult spot. Their backcourt combo of Bledsoe and Brandon Knight is what the team was built on. Without one of those guys for up to the next two months, the Suns could very well fall out of the playoff race out West.
