Averaging 8.6 points and 4.9 assists per game this season, Brandon Jennings has acted as a solid backup to Derrick Rose for the New York Knicks.
Unfortunately for Jennings, the team is set to waive the veteran guard in order to make room for Chasson Randle on the roster.
Randle, 24, appeared to eight games for the Philadelphia 76ers earlier this season before being waived following the Nerlens Noel trade last week. He was averaging 5.3 points in just north of nine minutes per game for Philly.
It's highly unlikely that Randle will take on the same amount of minutes (24.6 per) that Jennings saw with the Knicks. From a practical standpoint, this would seem to indicate that there will be more minutes to go around in New York. Though, already averaging nearly 33 per game, Rose likely won't benefit from a fantasy standpoint.
