The Miami Heat and former All-Star Chris Bosh have reportedly come to an agreement that will make him a free agent this summer, saving the Heat north of $20 million against the cap in 2017-18.
Bosh did not play a single game this past regular season after dealing with blood clots. It's been a continual issue for the 11-time All-Star, who has played in a grand total of 97 games since the end of the 2013-14 season.
Many close to Bosh have recommended that the 33-year-old walk away from the game to preserve his long-term health. It doesn't look like he's willing to do that.
From a fantasy perspective, this is pretty much a non-starter. We're going to have to see where Bosh lands and whether he can actually be tasked with playing substantial minutes after his long on-court hiatus.
In Bosh's last injury-shortened season with Miami back in 2015-16, he averaged 19.1 points and 7.4 rebounds per game.
