With Jabari Parker likely lost for the next calendar year after undergoing ACL surgery last month, the Milwaukee Bucks decided to add another front-court option for the remainder of the season.
Waived by the New Orleans Pelicans following the acquisition of DeMarcus Cousins, power forward Terrence Jones has signed with Milwaukee for the final quarter of the regular season.
Jones, 25, was averaging a solid 11.5 points and 5.9 rebounds in New Orleans prior to being waived. He was doing so in less than 25 minutes per game while shooting at a solid 47 percent clip from the field.
Based now what the Bucks need at power forward, it wouldn't be a surprise to see Jones match the playing time he saw in New Orleans. Simply put, Milwaukee wants to avoid playing the Greek Freak at the four as much as possible. This could lead to some solid action and fantasy relevance (DFS) from Jones moving forward.
