Out for weeks after spraining his MCL in a game against the Washington Wizards last month, Golden State Warriors forward Kevin Durant seems to be making progress. He's been seen at practice taking part in non-contract drills. That's definitely a good sign
Now, the Warriors have provided an update on Durant's status. He will continue to work through taking on a larger role during practice and will see his status updated in 7-10 days.
Assuming Durant is able to return shortly after that seven-day time frame, there's a chance Durant will be back on the court for the Warriors' final two regular season games.
After losing four of their first six without Durant, the Warriors are in the midst of an eight-game winning streak.
From a fantasy perspective (DFS), Andre Iguodala remains an extremely relevant option. The veteran is averaging 12.5 points, 4.1 rebounds and 3.4 assists in 12 games since Durant's injury.
Though, it really is Klay Thompson and Stephen Curry that have benefited mostly from a usage standpoint since the former MVP went down.
Thompson is averaging 24.5 points with Steph coming in at 25.3 points per game since Durant's injury. Both remain elite-level fantasy plays.
